November 18th - A male tawny owl was calling at 7.00 this evening near Buxton Road bridge.

December 10th - The highlights today were the first returning black-necked grebes at Sandsfoot (15), a stonechat at Wellworthy Close and, best of all, three eider off Smallmouth.

December 15th - This afternoon all the above birds were still present except that there were now 11 black-necked grebes at Sandsfoot and 2 great northern divers and a razorbill further out.
