Weymouth is blessed with a good population of Jackdaws, a beautiful bird that is often overlooked.

On the Rodwell Trail they are most common towards the town centre, in sections 1 and 2, but you'll also see them in the other built up areas around Old Castle Road and Downclose Estate.

One day our Jackdaws might be joined by Choughs, a species that is slowly becoming established again in Cornwall.
