Surprisingly rare on the Rodwell Trail, I have only managed to find 2 clumps, and one of these has been contaminated with some pink genes. Many other disused railway lines, such as the one at Powerstock, have good populations of this lovely flower, which may support the rare Duke of Burgundy butterfly.
