As soon as you spot this plant you'll be struck by the amazing shade of blue of the flowers. Apart from these lovely flowers the plant is an untidy, straggling, thistle-like affair with not much to recommend it. On the Rodwell Trail it only grows in the Downclose embankment overlooking Portland Harbour in section 5. You'll need to look for it in the morning as the flowers close by noon.
