White Horse Hill

Today we were not far from last week's walk but much higher up on the ancient ridgeway path overlooking Preston and Sutton Poyntz. The highlight was the abundance of butterflies including a Lulworth Skipper and several Commas. The Golden-ringed Dragonfly pictured above was another remarkable find, particularly as it appeared to be eating a bee! This link, www.ispot.org.uk/node/352099, will take you to the page on iSpot where we might get confirmation of this.
