Open University Exploring Nature Walk

Eggardon Hill

On a not-very spring-like afternoon this was a very bracing walk around this picturesque and atmospheric hill-fort. No birds to see at all but we had already seen plenty from the car on the way!

We did see this group of deer including a very striking white individual. From the length of their tails I assume they are fallows but I have put the photo up onto iSpot for confirmation. Click on the photo to go to the iSpot page.

We also saw this chap - no need for identification!
