Each year Weymouth's wintering Starling population choose somewhere to roost. One year they all stayed in a huge metal shed at the Ferry Terminal, which was very noisy! Sometimes they're in the town centre but most years they use the reed beds at Radipole or Lodmoor. This year it's Radipole.
And an update of tonight's murmuration, coinciding with a full moon on Sat December 18th.
Three years ago they all roosted in St Thomas Street.
Eight years ago they were at Lodmoor.
That year I filmed the murmuration from the old hide at Radipole.
