Underbarn, Portland Harbour
Sunday February 3rd 2019
The rocky ledges at the western edge of Portland Harbour are not normally home to many waders so I was very pleased
to see a Curlew there this morning. I was even more pleased when, just after I started filming, the bird gave several very loud calls right at the camera!
Currently the only other wader in the area, apart from the occasional Oystercatcher, is a Common Sandpiper, probably the same bird I filmed here just over a year ago.
